Description
Rather than following the rhythm of a standard visit, this masterclass is designed around photography itself — light, composition, movement, atmosphere, and the subtle relationship between landscape and structure. Plitvice is one of Croatia’s most remarkable natural environments, and the experience is built to approach it with patience, attention, and a strong photographic point of view.
The masterclass is led by Eduard Hanna, Fujifilm Ambassador, whose photographs have been published in Croatian and international magazines and publications, including National Geographic, and who has collaborated over the years with numerous brands, agencies, and artists who share the same passion for creativity and expression. With experience across editorial, commercial, portrait, architecture, food, and fine art photography, this masterclass is shaped not as a generic photo tour, but as a carefully guided, high-level photographic field session built around a professional and deeply visual way of working.
The format is intentionally limited to a small group in order to keep the experience focused, calm, and truly valuable for every participant. It is suitable for participants from easy / beginner to advanced level and is conducted in English.
What makes this masterclass different
Plitvice is often photographed quickly, but rarely observed with enough time and intent. This masterclass is designed to slow the process down and work with the park in a more considered way — paying attention not only to the iconic views, but also to rhythm, texture, water movement, layering, framing, and atmosphere.
The emphasis is not only on taking beautiful photographs, but on learning how to see more clearly, work more precisely, and leave with a stronger body of images.
Photographic focus
This masterclass is especially suited to:
- landscape photography
- water and long-exposure work
- natural structure and texture
- visual rhythm and layering
- atmosphere and tonal control
- image selection and refinement
Because of the nature of the location, the experience is particularly strong for participants interested in landscape and fine-art oriented photography, while still remaining accessible to motivated beginners.
3 days / small group / land-based
Day 1 — Arrival, introduction, and first field session
Arrival, welcome meeting, and an opening shooting session focused on getting into the visual rhythm of the location. The first day is about observation, orientation, and understanding how to approach Plitvice photographically.
Day 2 — Full field day in the park
A full day dedicated to photographing water, forest structure, boardwalk geometry, waterfalls, layers, reflections, and atmosphere. This is the central day of the masterclass, focused on field guidance, composition, pacing, and visual decision-making.
Day 3 — Final field session, image selection, and post-production
A final shooting session followed by image selection and post-production. This last part is essential to the masterclass, helping participants understand how to shape stronger final photographs from what they captured in the field.
