Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

Due to the nature of photography tours, workshops, and masterclasses, all bookings are subject to the refund terms outlined below. By completing a booking, the participant confirms acceptance of these terms.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on selected tours or masterclasses, where specified in the offer. The deposit amount is defined in the offer.
This deposit is not refundable under any circumstances, including participant cancellation.

For tours or masterclasses with a lower booking value, the deposit amount or payment structure will be specified at the time of booking.

Cancellations by the Participant

If a participant cancels their booking, the following conditions apply:

• the non-refundable deposit remains non-refundable
• any additional payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded only if stated in writing for the specific tour or booking
• if no separate written agreement exists, all payments are considered non-refundable

Because places are limited and small-group tours depend on planning, logistics, and advance commitments, cancellations may result in a full loss of payment.

Cancellations by the Organizer

If the organizer cancels a tour or masterclass due to insufficient bookings, force majeure, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered one of the following:

• transfer to a new date
• credit toward a future tour or masterclass
• refund of amounts paid, excluding any clearly stated non-refundable deposit unless otherwise agreed

If the organizer is unable to deliver the booked experience and no alternative is offered, a refund of the paid amount may be issued at the organizer’s discretion or according to the specific booking terms.

Weather and Schedule Changes

Certain tours and masterclasses are dependent on weather conditions. If weather conditions are not suitable, the experience may be:

• rescheduled to the first following suitable day
• adjusted in format or timing
• replaced with an alternative arrangement where possible

Weather-related rescheduling does not entitle the participant to a refund unless the organizer explicitly confirms cancellation without replacement.

No Shows

If a participant fails to appear at the agreed meeting point, airport, departure location, or scheduled starting time, this is considered a no show, and no refund will be issued.

Travel Costs and External Expenses

The organizer is not responsible for:

• flights booked separately by participants
• accommodation booked separately by participants
• visa costs
• travel insurance
• personal expenses
• third-party transport or reservation costs

Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

Digital Products and Downloadable/Content

If any digital content, downloadable guides, PDFs, or online materials are included or sold separately, these are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered or accessed.
